End of November 2010 OpenScout has released a new demo version. The demonstrator provides enhanced search functionalities to distributed open educational resources in the area of management education and training.
After the first release in September further content repositories like OpenER from the University of the Netherlands or UNESCO's Open Training Platform have been added. Furthermore, a first version of displaying competences assigned to resources is implemented. A keyword translation service allows you to enter search words in your native language and find results in the target languages of the repositories. Thumbnails give you a first impression of the contents and other display features enable better preview and selection of the search results.
In the upcoming months new updates will enhance functionality and usability. Feel free to send us your comments or questions in the meantime.
