Taking your valuable feedback into account we have used the last months to significantly enhance the OpenScout portal learn.openscout.net. We are proud to announce the official release of our portal on 14th May 2012. Use the powerful faceted search facilities to find free learning materials suitable for your needs. Use our tool library to get support for re-use and adaptation of the learning materials. Take full advantage of our community functionalities to discuss and share interesting learning materials with users who have similar interests. Use our powerful publishing service which allows you to upload your learning materials or to share a link.

Together with its portal launch the OpenScout project invites you to take part in its webinar series "Open Content for Management Education: How to find, use and share free online materials for management education?" The webinars will take place on 14, 16, 21 and 24 May 2012 (11-12 CET). We will show you with many practical examples how you can use the OpenScout portal learn.openscout.net and its free services to learn or teach management topics using open management content. The webinars are free but you should announce your interest using our registration form. Find the detailed program and more information here.

The OpenScout project is currently working towards a final version of the OpenScout portal. We therefore invite you to give us your opinions and impressions of the site so that we can make it even more adapted to your needs. The 3-minute feedback form allows you to express a brief comment on the portal functions you have already used, such as looking for resources or interacting via the community function. The 10-minute questionnaire is used for our large scale trials and allows you to give more detailed feedback.

With the release of our portal learn.openscout.net we  invite you to join the OpenScout community. Together we can further advance the use and development of open content for Business and Management Education. To join the community you can register at learn.openscout.net and you will have full access to the community features. The community allows you to network, share resources, debate and interact with other OpenScout users, and deepen and develop your knowledge of specific ideas. Moreover, we offer various social network channels where you can participate in discussions.

During the last months we have demonstrated OpenScout at various events to our target users - students, lecturers, employees of SMEs and large companies, content providers and general knowledge managers. Their feedback helped us shaping an exciting new release of our search portal learn.openscout.net and the accompanying tools and services.
