OpenScout

OpenScout integrates existing succesful tools and components that enable users to modify, adapt and localize materials to their need and context.

The initial version of the tool library has been built with the use of the Elgg open source social networking framework. It allows users to create accounts, connect with other users and collaborate with them, create a personalised environment, use widgets, share resources, as well as create and join groups. If you want to try out this environment, visit http://www.openscout.net/tool-library. OpenScout currently works on a full integration of the tool library into the OpenScout Portal.
