WP4: OpenScout Content Community and User Cluster Integration
WP4 aims to establish an active user community and attract a critical mass of open management content providers. OpenScout targets the following user groups, which have been clustered in order to better meet their individual needs and to be able to address them specifically:
- Educational institutions
- Instructors, professors and trainers
- Learners, students and participants
- Librarians and documentation experts
- Entrepreneurs and freelancers, small, medium and large enterprises
These user groups are very different in terms of needs and requirements, but all have in common the need for a reliable tool for accessing high quality management learning material. Moreover, they expect advantages and functionalities, which can be summarised as:
- Expertise offered by a specialised website
- Trust in the quality and pertinence of the results
- Easy one-step access to the various repositories
- Integrated tools for re-use of resources and customisation of the materials
- Various communication and networking tools and opportunities
- Low cost
- Possibility for learning at the workplace
The work in WP4 is lead by EFMD and is is divided in three tasks:
- Strategy for the OpenScout Community Development
- Community development
- Social Network Dynamics
